Overview of the DLR activities in Clean Sky 2 regarding novel configurations and hybrid electric aircraft
Abstract
The activities at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) during the last years in Clean Sky 2 within the Large Passenger Aircraft (LPA) and in the scope of AdvanceD Engine and Aircraft Configurations (ADEC) are presented. Here, the evaluation process, the DLR's Remote Control Environment (RCE) overall aircraft design (OAD) workflow and the results of the corresponding conceptual design studies of unconvetional configurations and hybrid electric aircraft are shown.
