Interaction as the Source of Inequality

    • Molander, Per
    Abstract

This chapter changes the perspective from the individual to the social level. Starting from binary and small-group interaction, inequality-generating mechanisms are traced through networks and into fully developed markets. As in individual development, there is an environment that intervenes in different ways, but the focus is on the interaction itself and how inequality emerges under varying assumptions about the interacting parties.
